i know that with cell phones today you can either stick with the older one that you had or get a newer one every so often, i know that i still have the lg phone from alltel and i have had it for a few years and i don't really care to get a new one because i would have to learn the new one and all of that and put the new numbers in and all of that, and the new ones are really complicated from what i have been told and i know that it looks complicated...so i was just wondering do you have an older one or a newer one...which do you prefer...i want to thank you all for taking the time out of your day to come and read my discussion and i hope that you all reply as well, i hope that you all have had a great day so far and your evening turns out the same way, thanks again for taking the time!

Mine is pretty old and still works just fine.
I've been thinking of getting a newer one but the thing is this one I have works so well.
So why spend money buying a new one when its not necessary.
Know what I mean ?

Well i have a new camera phone now, but i use to have an older phone and it took me along time to decide to get a new one it really dosent matter to me if its new or old as long as it works well, and cost less lol.

basically, I have an older cellphone, but it doesn't matter to me, if I want to take a picture, I can buy a camera that has better picture quality than a phone's cam, if I want to capture videos, I can buy a better videocam. the main purpose of my cellphone is to have communication with my family. newer cellphones are just "jack of all trades, but master of none!" hehe

Hmmm... I think my phone would be consider OLD.
I bought it more than 2 years ago so would you call that old? But really, the phone still looks as good as new to me.
Maybe one reason is that I very seldom use it.
To be honest, I still don't believe it has been mine for more than 2 years. Times flies...

Actually,I still have my old cellphone, sony ericsson k508i that I got 2 years ago. It was just for me, there is no reason not to used it or get rid of it when it was still usable and in good condition. Perhaps, someday, I'll decide to buy a new cellphone, but not now. Also, it seems, my sister will give me her old cellphone, nokia N78, this year, isn't great?!?

hhhmm...i have a LG Voyager right now and I just got this last May. I felt like my old phone is way better than my lg voyager. My old phone is N95i. But before I got my N95i, i had a N70 phone. I replaced my N70 Last August of 2007 by my N95i. And I replaced my N95i after 9 months and which is now LG Voyager..Well, I usually change phone if ever i see a newer and cooler one..lol

i use 3 mobile phones (don't ask me why).. an ipaq 6515 w/ gps, a sony 810i, and a motorola razor v3.. all have different special functions for me.. the ipaq is my car navigator and also used for mobile internet surfing, the sony for the everyday work (i can use this as remote to my laptop in presentations), and the moto for my roaming simcard..
at first i tried to have only one mobile phone and just swap simcards. but this practice may easily damage the phone and also i'm having problem in the configuration particularly the gprs settings..
i do not want to look for new models because i might buy a new one.. probably it will be a iphone... :-)

i am a new resident of America. i think cell phone is a necessary product in one's life in America. the cell phone is very cheap in the store or in supermarket ,its use just communicating with others .so no one will change his phone randomly ,older phones are familiar for their hosts, and new one need time to fit .

I have a new cell phone but it is not a new model. I have seen it before.
I do not think new cells are that dificult to understand tho, it is a matter of getting to know one's cell.\
Now putting all the info into the new phone, that was mostly boring than hard.

Hi! I'm sticking to my old cellphone. It's a Nokia 3120. I've had it for almost three years now. My phone before it broke so I just bought a new one. I wouldn't but a new cellphone unless my old phone is broken or already worn out. Also, I'm not really into the features of the new phones so I guess it's okay to have an older cellphone. Have a nice day!

I have both.. I have an old nokia 1100 and a sony ericsson p910.. the nokia works for places where is difficult to get a signal and the sony ericsson works for surfing and to transport data. is very useful to have both kind of cellphones..

I want to prefer a cellphone that already use like an old one. I like my cellphone than in new ones if its'nt broken yet. I have no money on buying cellphones, I would rather use it buy a new computer, anyway There are times you have a temptation of buying new cellphone, because you would rather fit the lifestyles of todays technology or rather amaze what are the features of the new cellphone
