i just got up to see what yahoo news has for today. then there is one video which i find very interesting. it is about a NY Yankees fan who was driven out of the stadium when he incidentally standoff (went also to the bathroom i think) while the crowd was singing and saying GOD BLESS America. yeah, he was ejected for being considered not patriotic enough to throw some respect while they're having this anthem sang and this remarks said.
being born in the Philippines, and a naturally born citizen of this country, I consider my self patriotic somehow. my basis for this is not about martyrdom just like what heroes and heroines did in the past but by simply thinking about giving the country the pride to make itself be proud to its citizen around the globe. well, i do not remember when was the last time i attended an actual flag ceremony, in fact the last time i sang our anthem was when Manny Pacquiao had a boxing fight with David Diaz but in my mind and deep within me, being a health care member, and an Overseas Filipino Worker in the future then I will try my best that the Philippines will be known much and appreciated from its health care professionals.

I think patriotism is different around the world. For instance the terroist thought they were being patriotic and fighting in the war, we think we are. The New York Yankees fan was patriotic in his own way. He may not show it at a game, but he probably shows it elseware.
