What the Heck is ...

... wmconnect.com? I've received an email from someone more than a week ago that had an email address from wmconnect.com and I responded within hours and was expecting a reply back. I sent another email several hours later, and then another 3 days later and still nothing. This person left me a voice mail 10 days after the initial email wanting to know why I didn't answer their email. Huh? I did, three times! The first was a direct reply to their email, and I believe the second one was as well, and the third one I sent it directly, not as a reply. Apparently she never got any of the three. So .. is wmconnect one of those crappy free services or what?

If I'm not mistaken that is a walMart program. I had a nephew who used that one for a while but he doesn't anymore. Don't know why but can guess that it is not the best.

I did some searching and see that a lot of people complain about the service. This woman is (supposed to be) a professional and I can't understand why she'd use such a lousy service.

I did searching as well - there are alot of complaints about it and reports of people being charged for an account they've cancelled. I'd be leery of them!

I don't know anything about the site other than it is an aol site. When you involve aol you are going to get a terrible service. So your emails may have went into the bulk folder. But you are thinking what about the direct response to the original message? Maybe it has a really paranoid bulk mail program.

I did a search for wmconnect and found that it was,as I guessed, a Wal Mart program. The info I found said it no longer was where it used to be, and had something about compuserve in the address. I see no reason for her to jump your case about not answering, anyway. Not if she wants to keep your business. I am like the others who responded, though. I think she needs to check her bulk or spam folder and make sure that you did not reply.

She didn't really jump my case per se, she just wondered if I got the email and wondered why I hadn't responded, since I was so eager to buy. She's my realtor, and we've been having problems anyway and this just adds to it. The real estate company doesn't even have a way to contact them via email on their website, and now this issue with her, I don't know. Seems pretty 'Mickey Mouse' to me, and I think I'll look elsewhere.

Yea, I'm finding that out. Not very professional to use, and I won't be dealing with her any longer.

Did she check her junk mail folder? Some mail clients are so strict in their "spam restrictions" that if you're not in that person's address book, nothing get through, even a reply to their e mail. I tried to look up www.connect.com but all I could find is that it's a domain that a lot of people use possibly a free one.

It's not 'connect', it's 'wmconnect', but no matter. I have no idea if she checked her junk mail folder or not. This is my realtor, and she's been really lousy about communicating anyway and this takes the cake.

No, she has other issues, but in this particular case it is the email that's a problem. She emailed me and was expecting a response back, and I did - three times.

LOL now you let the cat out of the bag. Here is my recent experience with a Realtor. I call about a house. She wanted to set up an appointment for me to view the house. I said "I own a landscaping company and we are working. So call me on Monday." That was 3 weeks ago. I want to buy another house. I want to aquire more property. She never called me back. So the Realtor is not willing to sell property. I am busy. I can't go look for houses. It is her job to call me. I am not going to hound someone so they can get commission. LOL So maybe it isn't the email.

wmconnect.com is a free internet provider service that is ran by walmart. It isn't the best thing to work with because my family and I had it awhile before we switched to embarq.
