are you trusting

i know that in todays world it is really hard to trust people honestly, i mean i have caught myself being a little wary of everyone that i don't know personally and have known for awhile, because you really don't know what people are going to do in todays world because of how people are now, its really a horrible thing that i am that scared to trust people but if you watch the news now a days you know that you have to be scared to trust people because there are a lot of people out here that would not care a bit to hurt you...so are you trusting or not? i want to thank you all for taking the time out of your day to come and read my discussion and i hope that you all reply as well, i hope that you all have had a great day so far and your evening turns out the same way, thanks again for taking the time!

Hello dear jhl. I think that I am trusting and I also trust people easily though there are quite a few that are not trusting at all. I still think that the majority of people are trusting...

I think I am too trusting on some levels and too cautious on others. For the areas, which I'm not aware of...I guess I'm alright. Sometimes I reveal too much to my friends and they would misinterpret and judge me for it. Sometimes I would want to contribute more to a conversation with an acquaintance, but feel like it might make me feel foolish if the acquaintance does not, in turn, contribute further. Some people I fear getting more intimate with because of possible motives. It just seems like the world has become a place where it is almost expected for everybody to be selfish and hedonistic. Its just when it rises beyond a certain level determined by society that we actually openly frown upon it. I think all people are born good, but society forces the instinct to survive to overpower the good nature. Some are overpowered more than others, but I think we have all experienced this in some way. I think I might have gone a bit off topic. But I hope and think it might have helped in some way.

no i am deffianlty not a trusting person. it takes along time for someone to gain my trust.

I try to keep an open mind. We all have our flaws, however we also have something called intuition and it's important to stay in tuned to that. I don't think that we ever really know someone, however I feel that we cannot live our lives looking over our shoulders and being distrusting. It's important to use our common sense and to just be smart about the choices we make. Life.
