So today was my birthday. My oldest friend, who now lives in another state, sent me flowers that were just beautiful! Her birthday is in a month and I want to send her something too. I just don't want to be a copycat and send her flowers too. Anybody got any brilliant ideas?

Happy Belated birthday, Trace! Hope it was a really good one. That was really really nice of your friend to send you flowers! Were they a mixed bouquet? WoW! Well no, I wouldn't send flowers back to her for her birthday, how about balloons with a teddy bear attached (if she is a teddy bear sort of person) Or you could send her chocolates or candles. I guess you kind of really have to know your friend and her likes and dislikes. I am sure whatever you send her will be very sweet and thoughtful and she will absolutely love it because it came from you.

Hi,Trace,Happy Birthday!!!Here,hugs for you!^^
I think that you should send her something she really likes.Since she is your oldest friend, you must know what she likes most.If she likes beauty, you can send her flowers or purse,or something like that.If she likes painting,a picture is a good idea.Or CD she likes listen to,a concert ticket...Or you can make some present yourself for her!I think she must love it very much.^^

If she's not diabetic, maybe one of those 'eatable arrangements" where they decorate cookies to look like flowers. Or a fruit basket. Heck I think you can send a spa type gifts, and other foods too.
If you know her interests, maybe get a package together yourself and send it.
