caught some the current repeats of the last series on ch4 in the afternoon
is it really appropiate to make jokes about a character with cancer needing to puke due to chemo or getting wasted and acting like a teenage stoner in public after using marujana for medical reasons ?

The actress has talked about the role and approved of how it would be done. It was well done, as you really need to be a regular viewer to understand that not everyone reacts in the same way. I really think it opened some people's eyes that some people can handle bad news better than others. Felicity Huffman is a great choice to play Lynette Scavo.

I have not seen this show, but if that is what passes for humour, then I don't want to see it. I think it's absolutely pathetic that people would make jokes about a person's illness like that. Cancer is really serious. How would they like it if they were ill in the same way and people made jokes like that about them? I think that is absolutely terrible!
