My husbands family is very close to each other. Unlike mine which most of us are far from each other, my husbands family always make time to get together. The picture was taken in the patriarch uncle's home. This uncle sees about to every ones welfare because his sister and my mother in law are both widows. If you can visit my pictures, I have there the picture of the grand children. lots and lots of grand children. Though 4 kids were Jakarta and 1 kid was in Geneva at that time the picture was taken. This coming christmas, only 2 will not be around since 1 is in Sacramento,USA and the other one around venice and Italy.
When we are together, we play games. There will be games for adults and children. Our uncles place is huge, complete with basketball court, table tennis, gazebo and video room. The older ones just stay in one of the rooms inside.Being together is really the best time of the year.
Hoe about your family?

Wow, my family is from the other side of the world (I mean, pretty much all my relatives), so I can't really visit them at all. We have visits every two years or so, but not really a family reunion. Plus, we have a lot of cousins!

We sort of have family reunions every summer. WE live in Florida and we have family up north. My moms side of the family who live in Maryland come down for 1-2 weeks in June and get a condo on the beach. They have had the same condo for the last 8 or so years, so it is a tradition. It is great to see them, and it is a shame we only see them once a year. If we had money to travel we would prolly visit them and visit our other family members in different states. When my husbands brothers from NJ are lucky enough to come down we try to go to Tampa and do a sort of Family reunion with his side of the family, but that doesn't happen to often. Thanks so much for letting me share.
