Do you feel that the current hurricane threatening to hit the gulf area would yield the same affectas Hurricne Katrina did?

Quite possibly, yes. Even if Gustav doesn't gather up as much strength most of the areas affected by Katrina are still not up to par protection wise, way below in fact. That makes them greatly vulnerable. Although I hope that people will heat the warning and evacuate, even if they think it won't be as bad. You just never know.
