Is being in a relationship a big distraction to you in finishing your studies??

It depends upon the person who has relationship with,because some can concentrate to their studies and some are not,but if you can do it both why not?maybe some cannot do it the same it is because they want to concentrate first to their studies and afterwards they will look for their partner or maybe some said that they don't have enough money to support their relationship that's why some are looking for their partner if they got a job.

Well. I don't know as I always hear and do what my grandmother say: "When you still study, keep out of girlfriend/boyfrien. After you work then you can involve in serious relationship." So I don't know the effect of serious relationship impact.

Yes, actually it was a very big distraction. Before I met my husband I was doing well in school, even after having a few rough patches along the way, so well in fact I would have graduated 6 months earlier than the rest of my class. But after I met my husband I let my studies slide and I almost didn't graduate with my class at all! I did make it in the nick of time, but boy was it close! LOL

i think sometimes my relationship just ruins my study , well actually i have had both positive and negative effects of relationship on my studies, as earlier i had a girlfriend who was in my batch and was really good at studies she generally used to teach me a few lessons for exams, and even kept a record how am i going about my studies....but now my girlfriend is from a different college and course so even if she wants she cannot make me study and when i am studying i feel i should be with her or talking to her...

Not at all, Coz me and my girlfriend are very understanding, we never let our studies suffer for us both , when there are exams we dont even talk to each other, shes far from me and the only way we have to talk is via phone or the internet, So we avoid it and study! its for our own good we both know it. Well yeah she got a lil distraction when i recently proposed her but i guess now she'll score the same high grades in her exams! what about you? well i think not really means sometimes hehe when you miss him?

I guess it depends on you if your want to get affected when you got a fight or what? But i guess alot of people really gets distracted and get irresponsible with their studies because of having a relationship..BF/GF became the priority not the studies anymore..so i think that having a relationship or unhealthy relationship would give an individual a distracful way to finish his/her studies..
