How many posts before I launch a blog?

Hi. I am currently planning to make a blog. However, as hard as it is to create a topic for my blog, I have also found it very hard to think how many posts should I crate before I launch it. Can someone share their experience on starting blogs? How many posts did you make before launching your blog?

Not too sure what you mean by "launch a blog". Since it would seem to me that after the 1st post (or even before that!), the blog is considered "launched". 1 post for me.

What I mean is before I market the blog. Which means before I get traffic to it. So is one post enough? Can it get a steady amount of traffic?

Oh, you are talking about building up traffic to your blog. Since both building up your blog content and building up traffic to your blog requires a lot of time and effort put in before it sees results, it would be better if you work on both of them side by side, rather than concentrate on one first.

Thank you. So I'll just semi-launch it. I'm just confused. Some say 10 posts before launching while some say 50. But thanks. I'll just experiment on which work best.
