Wanna get back my lost friend??

I had a friend once upon a time. But dont know why he left me in such a situation when I needed him most. I still feels for him. A really empty feeling for him. Several times tried to reconnect with him but everytime he denied. The thing was he was the man behind my marriage but my clash with my wife after marriage was really unbearable for him to tolerate, so he left us. But now everything is okey but I lost him. He was such a good friend of mine. If I phone him, he never picks it up. Please can anyone help me out, or suggest or can do anything active to make us together again???
