Friends at mylot....To choose or to be chosen?

Hello everyone... Forgive this over-exposed discussion as I see there have been posts of a similar question in the past but I am relatively new and find it intriguing to know how newbies as well as those with great numbers beside their IDs have gained their friends on mylot? Where is it considered a compliment...to choose or to be chosen? Thank you for sharing...

in my case, i do choose my friends... because, they're offering like another online opportunity and they need to send me the link... i also choose my friends by their response to discussions. if they're sensible or hilarious, or outrageous... whatever catches my attention.

hi inglara... it makes a lot of sense to choose your mylot friends...it would be somehow awkward to be chosen and find out that you share nothing in common with the one who chose you...but would it not be painful to choose someone and get rejected? thank you for sharing

nobody likes to be rejected... i mean, its really going to be awkward and you'll feel a little bit of hurt, thinking why? i never rejected any friends request so i think all worked out fine!
