What will you do if your best friend would lie to you about a big thing?

If your bestfriend is the closest person to you in the whole world and he/she lies to you about a certain thing just have faith in her cause she wouldnt have done such a thing if she knew it would hurt you. There might be a solid reason as to why she did what she did. Might be the truth would hurt you and he/she didnt want you to get hurt. just think it was for your good that he/she did it.

If a really close friend lied to me about a big thing I would first think about why they did it. If there was a good reason then I guess I would forgive them for it, but if not I would just have to let them know how much they hurt me by lying to me, and I don't think that I could ever be as close to them again as I was before they lied to me.

If my so-called best friend were to lie to me about a big thing, they would no longer be my friend, just as I would no longer expect them to keep me as a friend were I to lie about something big, to them. People should be honest with eachother, and my friends and I are all in agreement about this fact. We do not lie or betray eachother. That's not what friends do.

hi nengs! i'd probably be angry at her. and even if i forgive her, i'd be cold and distant for a long time. like what's happening now between me and my bestfriend. the problem happened months before. she lied to me about something and i was really sad and mad about it. but i never told her i knew she was lying. i even managed to accompany her in shopping the last time we were together. but i was also sure she could feel the coldness. its been a long time since that happened. and i thought maybe i was being too hard on her. i greeted her on her birthday but she didn't send me a reply. i can't do anything about it anymore. i have made my move. its about time she did hers.
