When was the last time you went to the movie theater?

I haven't been to a movie theater for a month now. I went together with my boyfriend and we watched "The Mummy III".
The movie was okay, but I liked the two mummy movies before this.
I am super busy and I don't have time watching a movie anymore because of school works. Hooh!
Another reason is, the movies showing are not so good and I'd prefer to watch them when they're out on DVDs. I'll just rent them.
How bout you, when was the last time you went out to movies and with whom were you with?

i believe it's been about 2 years since we have been to the movie theatre. It's much cheaper to either find a good novie in satelite and make my popcorn here at home. We usualy spend way to much at the theater's when it's so much cheaper to make popcorn at home and rent a movie to watch. The movie at the theatre will be on satellite soon anyways.I don't understand how the movie theatres can stay in business with their expensive munchies and the cost of getting,especially if you have kids will empty your wallet in no time.

We don't often go to the theater just because I find it to be an expense that we can do without since often times we could simply stay home with a bag of microwave popcorn and watch the very same movie on the internet. The last movie I went to see was with my son in April and we went to see Horton Hears A Who... it was really cute, and well worth the thirty dollars that we spent. It was his birthday and it was something that he really wanted to do... so who was i to say no!!!
