Where and how you actually met for the very first time ? and i hope you do remember hehe..
Think these days now many have met of the Internet, and if so. how did you first get chatting, what site or in some other way..
Was it love at first sight or maybe it took a while, of just friends first?
I don't have a man, but i met my ex boyfriend from online.. Was in a server playing quake 2 at the time and he was kicking me a55 in game from there went to email then ICQ chat program.. After few months we decided to meet half way between our cities, from then we had 7 years living together..
Want to hear your stories now, of that first day you met in life or virtually?

My girlfriend used to manage a record store at the mall close to where I lived...It was also the record store I went to to buy all my cds and dvds...I had the biggest crush on her for at least two years, but never talked to her too much...I was only 17 when I first laid eyes on her, and I could just tell she was older than me, even though I never actually knew it for sure...Eventually we started talking a little bit at the cash register because we seemed to have the same musical taste, but I still couldn't build up the courage to ask her out for a coffee, or whatever...I would only get to see her once or twice a week if I was lucky, but they were always great moments for me...So finally, I turned 19 and started going to the bars...It just so happens to turn out that we both love the same bar in town..."Now I'm getting somewhere!" I'm thinking to myself...I got very lucky one night at the bar, she saw me and says "Hey, you're that metal dude from the record store!" so we started talking from there...We ended being the last two people standing outside the bar after it closed so I was about to call a taxi, when she invited me to come to her place to call the taxi, as it was very close to the bar...So we got to her place and ended up staying up all night just talking and getting to know one another...We kept on hanging out, just as friends though...Eventually I made the move on her, and it couldn't have gone any better...At first she wasn't ready to date me though...She had her heart broken with her last relationship, and the age difference between her and I was bothering her (I had just turned 20, she was 23)...Now, here we are...We have been dating for over three years now, we live together in an apartment and love eachother more than either of us ever thought possible...So the last 6 years of my life have been amazing...I met a girl at a record store who I thought was the most awesome girl I've ever laid eyes on, thought I would never have a chance with her, now we're completely in love with eachother...

This is going to sound bad LOL but I met my ex boyfriend because he was dating one of my friends. Well he was not dating my friend, but he was interested in my friend. We just somehow hit it off. It was the night before my birthday, and he was the first one to tell me happy birthday at midnight :-D we were together for 6 years and broke up back in may. I want him back. Wish me luck. Im trying hard.

that can happen, if find you were more compatible together then your friend and him.. And nah dont sound too bad, not if he was only interested in her, you just got in there first
my ex had a gf at the time when i knew him, but i didnt know her.. She was much younger and he kind of was fedup of her childish giggly ways and always had her mates with her too.. We got on and eventually he left her for me, older woman hehe.. Together for maybe 7 years, but dont want him back now lol
anyway i wish you much luck, but maybe you don't need luck, if its meant to be with you and him, it will happen just use the power of woman charm
thanks for sharing, and hope it works out for you

I met my wife in, all places, Las Vegas! Her father took here there on vacation and my friend took me there as a birthday gift. We met on the bar between Harrah's and the Oriental. It was a quick meeting and we talked alot before parting ways a couple days later. We called each other, sending emails and months later we became engaged and she moved to my state. We were married a year later. It was a sweet time. You never know who you will meet!

I met my wife at work. We both worked at the local hospital, she was the afternoon cashier/relief PBX operator. I worked as an orderly and in physcial therapy. I met her when I went to the cashier's office to pick up my paycheck in the evening. We started talking. I didn't ask her out as I was in the midst of divorcing my first wife. But we did keep talking. Both of us really started to enjoy each others company. Four months after my divorce was final and done with, I asked her out. She agreed. That was 26 1/2 years ago. We've been married for 22 years now and are still each other's best friend.

I am thinking back to the day I met the man that was to become my husband but now we are divorced. I was on my trip around the world and at that stage of it I was in Australia. I had been working in Cairns and my job ended. I was all set to fly off to Darwin but I canceled my reservation to fly there and I booked a train to Brisbane. I was hoping to go back to Sydney. All my washing got stolen from the washing line outside the backpackers hostel. I went to the club loco car on the train in the evening. I met a fascinating guy six years older than me with the same interests as me. He was vegetarian, loved traveling and was fond of animals. We got on really well and when I met his friends I thought they were nice people. They invited me to stay in their spare room. So I did exactly that the guy and I really liked one another and so we began a relationship. He moved to England and we got married, had a child and six years later split up then we got divorced.

I have known my husband for my whole life, LOL! When I was born he was my next door neighbor! My Aunt became his mothers best friend so I visited hiw house often. When I turned 9 I had a huge crush on him. He is 3 years older than me and didn't realy give me the time of day, not that I would know what to do a 9 years of age anyways! Any how. He married another girl who he dated through high school and I went my own way. Then one day he walks into my job, he didn't know I worked there, and we started talking. He was going through a divorce, his wife was cheating, and I was single too. We started dating after his divorce was finished and have been together ever since. That would be 10 years together and 9 years married. Still in LOVE

Believe it or not, but I knew my ex (none, actually) on mIRC!
Well, I used to chat in a channel with my friends, and this girl used to log on it once in a while.. Thenm we started chatting more & more, then the chats evolved to Orkut chats, then MSN chats and, finally, real-life meetings. ^^

I met my boyfriend through an ex boyfriend. They were friends and he took us out to Wasaga Beach one morning and we hung out for the day and had a blast. My ex and I broke up shortly after that but I didn't see him for almost two years after that. By then I had had my son and I was down at the Blues Fest that is held in our town every year and we happened to bump into each other there. He invited me back to his place for a barbeque that he was having with some friends and I agreed and that was almost four years ago now and we have been together off and on!

It was spring of 1968. I was a infantry second leutenant and I had a bunch of friends that wree preparing to go to Vietnam. I decided to put together a Hawaiian luau to include a roasted pig for a "going-away" party for them. I had to "get girls" to come if it was go be a success. The true was, as a young military officer we never had time to date. They kept us reallllly busy. As such, we really didn't get around a lot of young women. Well, I had help from someone and we got a number of single young ladies to come as a group. My future wife was one of the girls. She was 19 at the time and going to college. The party was a huge success. I was going to Vietnam myself and destine to go on leave in just 30 days. Well, to make a long story short, we were engaged within the 30 days, wrote every day when I was in Vietnam. I obviously survied and we were married within 7 days after returning. We have now been married for 39 years. :-) Thanks for asking...:-)

I've been playing on online mafia RPG for 2 years. A lot of people who play this game have hooked up with people, and the game over all has a nice community of people; I've made a lot of friends there.
Last summer i began talked to a guy who played the game. We met each other on paltalk in the official room for the game (its where players go to hang out, chat and have fun).
It all started out with a phone call, which turned into phone calls every night. He doesn't even like to talk on the phone, but he didn't mind when i would call.
Eventually he was moving to Arizona and he wanted to meet me, at this point we were both smitten for each other..and even exchanging "i love yous". I spent an entire weekend with him and i loved every minute of it, and was so sad to see him go. He was going to Arizona and i never thought i'd see him again.
His main purpose for going to Arizona was that he was offered a job by a mutual friend of ours that also played the game. He was in Arizona living in a hotel for 2 weeks with no word from our friend, it's like he fell off the map.
He was miserable there, no job, no family..no one around that he cared about...and he missed me. One of our really good friends gave him some advice and said either go back home or go be with her....what's in Arizona for you? he said.
So without my knowing, he began driving back from Arizona without my knowing..and halfway here he told me.
He drove all the way from arizona to Ohio..straight. He only stopped for gas, to feed and walk the dogs that were traveling with him and to stretch his legs. We have been together now for 6 months and hopefully we have a good future ahead of us.

I met my husband back in 1971 when we both attended the first home church meeting. I belonged to the Two by Twos then. He was talking to another girl, she was going to be a nurse, and I was so jealous I wished that she would drop off the face of the earth. Me and my future husband got to talking, found that we came from the same backgrounds, we started dating and got married on June 1, 1972, spent out honeymoon on Vancouver Island, and have been together ever since. We both quit the Two by Twos he because they had excommunicated a friend of his who tried to kill himself and was not playing with a full deck. The friend had a homosexual brother and thought he was one. Me, because I had not been a virgin and had given my baby away for adoption and even though I was supposed to be forgiven, was not allowed to wear white to my wedding.
We adopted twin baby boys, one is married and expecting his second, the other will be married next year.

Hi! I met my husband through online chat last May of 2005. We continued communicating through chats, calls and text everyday. We never missed a single day of chat. If ever we will, one of us will give a call. We met in person after 2 years of our cyber relationship. Quite a long wait huh?! It was worth it though. He petitioned me after 3 months of our meeting in my country and just this year of April i flew here (USA) to be with him. And now, we are happily married. We waited 3 years to finally be together. We have dedicated lot of effort and time for our relationship to work out.

I met mine in an online MMORPG called eq2. I had never played one of them before and I was unintentionally stealing his mobs. He sent me a private message asking me if I wanted to group so we could both get the quest done. Then without knowing we both joined the same guild. We started grouping together daily, not even knowing what the others gender, name or anything else about the other was. Over the next couple months we got to know each other. I was really starting to fall for him, but I was pretty sure he was a lot younger than me so I just kinda kept to myself. Then one day he started asking me a lot of more personal questions and I figured it was time that I better let him know my age cause I was in love with him and I figured it need to either end or get real. I am 20 years older than him. He is 35 to my 55. He was surprised, but not really put off. We exchanged pictures and phone numbers and decided we should met after we had been playing and talking together for about 6 months. It was an eventful meeting, and almost did not happen because he lived in Florida and the week before we were to met in Colorado, hurricane Wilma came through. He was a day late, but he made it. To make a what has become a long story shorter, a few months later, I moved to Florida and we have been together ever since. We are now planning to marry.
