are these matrix sites worth joining

I have being seeing a lot of these matrix ads on ptcs of late so was just a little curious to know whether it's worth investing in matrix sites. i thought of joining one but before joining I wanted to be sure about it and where else can I find a better answer then mylot?
Anyone in matrix and can anyone tell me whether it's worth it?

I joined the $1 matrix months back.
As long as you promote your link and people join under you then you will earn too.
I have also been paid (the same day as requesting) and proof is in my profile.
If you think you can promote it then it's worth it in my opinion.
