I took it last month and I have not got the scores yet. I think it is a very good test, for test takers like me have to improve the overall ability of English -- listening, reading, speaking and writing -- in order to get a good result of it. Do you think such tests can benefit us a lot? At least I believe they could be the driving force of us to develop our English skills in a comparatively short time. Take GRE for example, for me, a student from China, I had to remember a lot of words in half a year, almost 8,000 new words.. It was a suffering time at first. But after that, I felt that I could understand articles easily because of large vocabulary. Aha, it is really great!

GRE is a devil, abnormal test which should have been eliminated long time ago. I know some people who had scored high are actually disabled in English usage. They can not express their thought well and clearly either oral or written. poor creatures. IELTS is good, very practical. even students who won't study abroad will benefit from this test system enormously. TOFEL is ok, but a little boring. It unfolds the real campus situation in its listening and reading parts.

That's really a great way to learn English,i'll pay off someday.I didn't take any of the tests you mentioned, but some of my friends are trying very hard to learn all the needs to acquire a relative good result. BEC,i regard, also a good way to learn English!

I took Test for English Majors (TEM)4 and 8, as well as CATTI 2...I see many students are quite worried about their English exams, as well as those tests that you mentioned. For non-English majors, it shall be a challenging task to "conquer" English, and I think learning English is a life-long business, even though some students pass English degree tests, their language command will also degenerate, without continuous study. This is especially true with language learning. Don't you think so? So English test is not the end, it's just a threshold.
