Are Your Questions Answered In Dreams?

Have you ever had questions going around in your head that you can't answer and then suddenly you have a dream which addresses the subject and comes up with a solution?
Do you wake up from a dream feeling totally enlightened and like a weight has been lifted off your shoulder?
Or do you just dismiss it as a dream and the answer becomes irrelevant
For example, I am very very highly self conscious about my looks and body and I suffer with very very low self-esteem
Well last night I had a dream and I can remember it because it gave me an answer I hope to what I was looking for
I was surrounded by these yobs calling me horrible names and I always cling to negativity and any positivity goes right out the window, you've been there right? Well I had had enough
So encircled and trapped by these yobs I screamed at the top of my voice why are you always calling me names?
I'm Ugly aren't I? They screamed NO
I'm Fat aren't I? They screamed NO
I'm Useless aren't I? They screamed NO
(These are the main things I am conscious about in actual fact!)
Then why do you call me names tell me?
They answered because of your dress sense!
Is that the answer I am looking for? I know it sounds weird but maybe if I was to buy new clothes and look good then I will feel more confident in myself and stop fearing others being so negative and nasty to me?
So is that my answer? Was my dream telling me the answer?
So have you ever had any questions answered in your dreams and how did you feel afterwards and did it change you or give you the answer you wanted?

Hi wolfie, I think that your inner self may be trying to tell you something. There is no reason for you to have low self-esteem. Each of us has a mission here and just as in a jig-saw puzzle, the picture cannot be complete without every piece, so we are all important in life. We all have a part to play, and no one else can do it as perfect as we can. I believe we can all learn from our dreams and some of the greatest writers in history often got their ideas from dreams. Blessings.

I think my inner self is probably getting angry too tired of hearing me put my down all the time, I soak up negativity like a sponge and I am trying desperately hard to put a stop to that, but when you've done something for almost all of your life breaking out of the habit is a very hard thing to do indeed, thanks for your thoughts

Maybe you can try listening to motivational couching like Anthony Robbins, they have so many at my library and someone just left free casette copies at the library that I took, it was Anthony Robbins too, his "Living Health" assembly.
Me I am prone to being self conscious but i have come a very long way since having my kids, they have helped me focus on myself more and not what others think. I like to read self help books all the time and I think its important to work on yourself so that you do not lose your focus, I think in your situation the most
helpful but be people like Eckhart Tolle and dont expect one read is gonna fix you as Tolle will assure you the "Ego" has a high stake in keeping you captive of its needs. Another is A Course In Miracles or Science of Mind

no. actually most of those i dream are the things i have thought more for the day and it would manifest in my dreams. i rarely get dreams that do answer questions in my real life. i hope that can happen to me too, if that happens that will be cool.

Dreams are really a bizzare concoction of things. Ever read e.g. "Dream Psychology" by Sigmund Freud.
I am currently reading it via DailyLit at www.dailylit.com . It's free.

Yes, I have woken from dreams feeling relieved, inspired and blessed with new knowledge. It is an awesome feeling. If your looks are what is bothering you, yes, your self conscious will be working on the problem. You have done the job of working out and getting fit. You are not fat. Best as I can tell from your avatar you are a pleasant looking guy. Useless? That one you would have to figure for yourself, but I would say that to your friends here you are certainly not useless. So, maybe a style consultation could give you the boost you need for your confidence, unless of course you find a total snob to try to help you pick some new clothes. Pick things that make you happy, show off your best features, not too extreme, but that scream "quality" because, Wolfie, You are a quality guy and deserve to treat yourself that way.

If I do buy new clothes I will choose red and black because both those colours exude happiness for me. It's weird isn't it, if I wear something red it makes me feel happy within myself and I was told that black shows off the muscles. I wear too much blue which may lower my moods and can be a 'dull, drab' colour hence 'blue' Out with the blue in with the red me thinks!

Nope Wolfie. No unfortunately.
I try though and ask before I sleep (sometimes) to have what I need to know revealed in my dreams IN A WAY I CAN UNDERSTAND AND KNOW FOR CERTAIN and I must be able to remember it all.
Tough luck.
Interpreting a dream is harder than navigating Bermuda Triangle.
So after much soul searching, do you think you need to dress differently? Maybe you can try getting the advice of someone who is supposedly fashionable!

You know what sweety I don't think that was what your dream was telling you - I think it was telling you that no matter what you do there is always something else that you could be self conscious about. I think it is telling you to start loving yourself and stop worrying about appearances and clothing and just get on with being you, the person that those who know love and want to shake to make them realise that they are a wonderful , warm , loving and attractive person. Don't make me shake you little bro or I will and it won't be fun! By the way I can never remember my dreams so does that mean I am empty headed? don't answer that I already know I am! lol xxx

I will rattle if you shake me, now that I take garlic pills on top of my codliver oil on top of my thyroxine LOL! I had a wonderful response to my 'becareful what you dream of' it was such a profound message that I wrote it down and I am taking it to my counselor today because it had a big effect on me, I am also going to type it out and try and get it framed because it really made me stand up and take notice! I will email it to you sis, already sent you an email to enquire about a certain person! xxxx

Only one question of mine has ever been answered during a dream, and that was wondering whether or not i was in love with a guy.
Turns out I was :)
I'd been having thoughts about him for ages, and then had a dream where we got together and everything seemed so right, and since then my feelings have got stronger and stronger by the day for the guy.
Haven't yet told him about the dream though, don't think that would be a wise idea!

I don't remember any questions being answered in dreams but I have woken up on a few occassions and thought 'oh so that's what I need to do'. I think your dream was probably telling you to begin to feel more positive about yourself and if you have new clothes and feel good in them it can help you feel better.

not really.. but i dream about school stuff sometimes, like my assignments and reporting or doing a demo in school.. which i was supposed to be doing when i get to school. i also dream that i left my assignment at home... when i woke up, i suddenly look for my assignment, glad it was a dream.... i do not know if thid kind of dream answer any question i want... sometimes, i am lucid dreamer though, because i am aware that i am dreamer. when someones wake me up, and i still go back to my dream, it continues.. and i am aware that i am dreaming.

I find I just get more questions than answers. I wonder why I can do things in my dreams that will never come to be in my awake life.

I don't find this happens wolfie. I don't even speak clearly in my dreams. If there are words spoken they are garbled and I'm the only one who speaks. One thing I have noticed lately though is that I am younger and thinner in my dreams. I'm in my 30's and the same weight I was back then.
I don't even know what my questions are...

Yes, i have had many dreams, but none of them was answer to questions i had in my mind.Dreams , for me are mainly a nightmare. Because i usually see what can never happen....But some people, who are religious say that GOD came in dreams and answered their questions. Even science has not been able to tell why people dream.....No , there has been no effect on me from my dreams..

Hi Wolfie! I dunno much about dreams, and I have never come across any solutions to life's problems in dreams. I have had some pretty interesting dreams though. Getting new clothes would be a great idea if you have the money for it and the time and you really love shopping. :) But why do you have a low self-esteem? I guess you ought to develop a really high opinion of yourself. :)
Cheers and happy mylotting

For me,i never remember if i have any questions answered on my dreams because everytime i get up i can't remember what i've dream even how i tried to think it.Everytime we are sleeping our brain is still working unconsciously, involuntary. You are dreaming because you have un finish business when u are awake, so you just dream those things that you feel it's impossible for you to do it in real, and maybe there's no imposible in dreaming. If you are asking about your personality state, if you are ugly or not, your useless , etc. it's because your self esteem is low, you feel inferior all you need is to boost your confidence and stop thinking negative things. cheers!
