Today we live in a society where relations are changing ever faster... many people (myself included) attend each day social networks, chat, instant messaging... and new relationships develop from these means of communication. Do you think that friendships developed from Internet could be as genuine and important as "normal" friendships? And do you think that this type of relation could become some of more real and intense? Which are your experience about? Tell me your opinions!!

Well my friend, that will depend on what kind of person you will come across in the virtual world and how you take it.I have few online friends, some that I have met and some are still strangers. But we should never forget that "strangers are dangers in a virtual world".We don't know the person and hence, difficult to judge someone just by messaging, email and chat. What he/she in virtual world, can be totally different from the real world. However, good people also exist. If you are lucky, you can find someone good and real and not fake.Relationship can develop and turn into something better.

I think also that it depends where on the internet you meet the friend. For example I met a lady from Canada in a Disney World chat forum because I was looking for two spare seats on a fireworks cruise in the Magic Kingdom. She offered me seats on a boat she had already booked and we ended up meeting while on holiday there, as well as meeting some other people who she had been in contact with for the same reason. We were about ten people in all, mostly in pairs, who had never physically met - and probably never will again - but our love for Disney brought us together and we shared the magical experience of watching amazing Disney fireworks from a pontoon boat in the middle of the lake in front of the Magic Kingdom. I will always remember it :-) We still catch up from time to time on the forum and if we both lived in the same country/area we probably would keep in touch more. It heartened me to know that even if you can't find people in your own locality who are into the same things as you then you can always find them further afield, and that the wonders of modern technology have made the world a smaller place. After all, it was Disney himself who came up with the "it's a small world after all" song!
