There has been 2 plane crashes here with in the week burning up 2 or more houses.
The first one killed 3 people one was the piolet.
The one yesterday landed between to houses but got one on fire. No one hurt.
This is from the airport north of town.
Been there since 1941 when no houses were out there.
People are blaming the airport (it only handles small planes) but its not the air ports fault The develpers built the houses and business around it and lots of homes and businesses up there now. Would you move or stay?

It would definitely make me think about moving. We had a plane crash next to my daughters apartment complex. It was pretty nasty. I would be scared that it would happen again.

That is awful Lakota and I could see why people would be frightened by these events but as you say the airport was there long before the houses etc . I don't know if I would have moved there in the first place as surely you should research an area you are going to move to and if there is something you are really worried about it don't move there in the first place! xxx

It sure seems like there have been alot of plane crashes this year..One was a medical helicopter that went down killing all on board..I just read about a dermatologist team who were on their way home and they crashed..It is awful..

For me, it would depend on how long i have lived there. If it wouldnt be a problem and haven't been there for long, then i would probably move. Just not wanting to take the chance of getting hit. But i don't see how it would be airport's fault for someone not knowing how to fly a plane. I mean if people wanted to get "technical" about it, it's either the piolit's fault, or the manufacturer of the plane. Technical problems and such. But not the airports fault. Did anyone say why or what caused the crash? How long have the house been built around the airport? Is this the only 2 times that there has been a plane crashing into any houses? I am sorry..lol..i ask too many questions. Ok, i let ya go now..lol..Have a good day!

this is first I have heard of a house being hit.
lot of the houses has been there 20 years or more But is building up all the time when we lived on that sinde of town there were alot of empty spaces that was 7 years ago.
There have been a coupld of crashes in empty places .
The first one was a kit plane and they were trying it out . this 2nd one had told airport they were having engine trouble and turning back.
