If you are to ask the interviewer on your job interview, what will it be?

I know that it was rare to interviewer to give the applicant an opportunity to ask a question on them and I know that most of us who got an interview invitations and undergone interviews has some questions to the employers as well though we are not able to give them that questions probably we can just share those questions that we wish we can ask to employers/interviewers here. So what will it be? Please share your thoughts.

Ask them what qualities they feel you are lacking that are necessary for the position. Then at least you get to address their concerns.

That was good to hear! At least you are able to ask the things you wanted to know about the position and company. Goodluck on you!

As someone who has interviewed many, many people for jobs before I don't feel that there is really a generic answer for a question like this because there are so many factors to consider for so many different jobs. As an interviewer though I think that any question asked of me that is related to growth opportunity etc within the company is received positively by me. Asking a question like this shows confidence on the candidate's part that they are expecting to get the role and wish to know what their future prospects are when they do. And even though it is a confident statement it is by no means arrogant and also gives me the perception that they not only see themselves working with the company; but also see themselves being staying with the company for a timeframe far beyond the role being offered.

I've never attended an interview (either as interviewer or interviewee) where the applicant wasn't given the opportunity to ask questions. I have asked questions which clarify either the job description and the duties involved or aspects of the terms of employment.

My husband has been hiring people to work for his business and i had heard him asking questions during the interview. If i were to ask him i would probably ask him what are the qualities a person would possess in order to be hired.I just wish all interviews are the same as him.He is so calm and very considerate and he always makes you comfortable during the interview.
