horayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
as my friends know,, i am in to fashion designing and arts stuff.
and thankfully, my man is always there to support me with all my hobbies and passion in life.
he knows i love to paint (although painting doesnt love nor like me,,, lol) but he still stands right next to me and give my easel, paints, paint brush, bob ross' videos and painting set and so many things about painting.
then i am in fashion so he goes with me to buy fabrics and accessories and give me ideas and advices too.
so the biggest one is him giving me this sewing machine.
i had make 2 clothes using my bare hands so he said he will buy me one and this is it!
i already have all my stuff and will start it as soon as my pain is over.
last week when he presented this machine with me, i told him i never use an electric one coz grandma only have the pedal "century old" one,, i am only aware of the parts that belongs to the manual.
so i asked him to help me figure this out..
it is so funny coz he NEVER do such thing (wish i video tape him,, hahaha), he thinks it's funny that im the one who is into sewing and there he is, showing how it works for me...
oh well,, he is such a sweetheart so even if i am such a pain in the $%^&**
he still manage to show it to me following the step by step procedure...
i find it cute how he showed everything to me and he sure make the machine work.
what i love about him is that,, he is like my walking encyclopedia and my "MR.KNOW-HOW" so i depend with him so much...
so now i have my machine working,, he already make sure that my computer have all the software i will need for my designing, painting and even my love for writing.
i know we all have flaws as human,, but i am grateful knowing i have this man who is always there to support not only me but others as well,,, i have never known a man who have such a big heart.
anyway,, i am really excited to start with my designs soon, i already have my logo and tags made so hope things will work well with me,,, im keeping my fingers cross!!!
so i wish all the best for me,, hahaha!!!!

Good for you! I have a little machine, but since mostly I make pillows I just as soon do it by hand. I haven't a clue when it comes to patterns and such. I'll stick with the painting and writing. I do use the machine to do hems that come loose and such as it's so much neater. You will have to share some of those designs. Creativity, a way for the heart to be seen by the world.

thanks for being here again.
it is great to know that you do love to paint and write, i sure missed that information.
mind sharing some of your paintings?
i love to paint but paint dont love me But i dont care LOL
i love bob ross' painting (joy of painting) i have a few videos and i have tried once i hope i can do it again.
my sister-in-law have a few paintings based oh his teachings so it is cool.
i love to make pillow cases too and anything that looks cute and attractive to me haha.
yes, my heart is full of creativity.
and i am thankful that i am blessed with such heart as well as a way to fulfill such creativity even if its not that great.
it is great to me so for me that is all that matters.
anyway, i will keep you posted with what i do hopefully i can do it after i got my few test result this month.

Please do keep me posted sweetie. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
As far as some of the paintings, I will see if I have anything saved to this computer that I can upload to my account. I only began painting about 2 years ago. I'll go take a peek now.

congrats on getting your sewing machine. i cannot wait to see tyra banks wearing dress you designed on catwalk hehehe....
very happy to know you have many talents and interests. i like drawing and want to be able to draw nicely and properly. but when i draw human, i usually end up drawing an alien look man with its big head and skinny body 
it's very nice to know how you experiences a happy and wonderful daily life with your husband. you guys are really a great couple.
so, happy sewing! don't forget to spend time to be on mylot sometimes. take care...

LOL with all the great fashion designers out here, i kinda doubt that i will be known in my lifetime but i am happy even without that haha.
oh, i love to draw too, i do paint once in a while and i dont like to draw anything with face on it or anything that is complex coz for some reason it dont seem to be alike of what i want it to be hahaha!
some people says just keep trying - my comment on that is - i have tried and tried and still the same so i guess there are just talent that is not meant to be your talent LOL
yes, my hubby and i are always having a wonderful moment together.
like other couples there are also rough times (rarely though) BUT we always do try our best to communicate and hear each other out and then go from that.
haha, dont worry i love mylot enough to keep me here despite my hectic days.
appreciate your concern though.

great!! so you mean its not electic then? i have electric sewing machines before but i sold it to my sis-in-law since i dont know to trouble shoot and even my mom dont have a knowledge of it.. i prefer the manual too and contemplating to uy one since im not working now full time and i guess i can have the time to sew and learn..like you i know how to hand sew house dress..

hello vanities,
NO, the one he gave me is an electric one just like the one in photo that is exactly what i have.
he bought me a portable one so i can bring it wherever i go - if i feel like studying again i guess.
i am learning pretty well and i am enjoying it so much.
i am hoping that i could be able to do some more once my husband feel a lot better, i just hate to do something then stop - i like to do it and finish it at the same day or i will feel bad about it haha.
i really like what he gave me coz even though it is not the professional one, i can still do 100+ kind of stitches on it and still do a little bit of embroidery if i want to, it is pretty cute indeed.
my grandma used to have a manual one and i am used to it but im kinda liking the electrical now since i can bring it anywhere haha.
anyway, i hope that you try to sew again. it sure is very enjoyable specially once you finish a good project.
keep me posted who knows one of these days we can share patterns haha.

[i]wow...that is great jair! I know you will be having a lot of great output, i am excited to see it! You know I don't have any skills for that...I always tried before since my Mother can make anything like blouses, pants, and skirts and I never inherited even a single skills like her..LOL!
ANyway, It is always wonderful to have a very supportive man who is always willing to do anything for you to show that he is always there to support you! Cheers![/i]

i always love to make stuff be it clothes or just plain crafts LOL
i think i am a hopeless artist but i dont care coz i am enjoying it no matter what other say.
hey, a lot of people learned something not because they know something just that they are interested of that matter/subject.
i often notice that there are few that i dont like in the beginning but once i get to know more about it i can say that i can learn it easy - it is just a matter of mind set IMHO.
having said that, im sure you can do the same and who knows maybe even more.
yeah, my man is one heck of a spoiler.
we went to the mall yesterday before we met his best friend and i told him that the perfume he gave me last year is almost gone so we saw a good deal and he says he might give that as my birthday gift and then i kinda joke around and says well you can buy it now and keep it till my birthday arrives and he just laugh so hard and says "you always get what you want"!
so i have it now LOL
anyway, i am very sure your man is the same.

hahaha, thanks for the laugh, now i feel like a dork coz it seems like there is only 2 person on earth who wants such gift YIKES!!!
