How Long is your Friendship?

I am starting this discussion that how long a friendship can be. For me real friendship is such a pure relation ship which can be of life long. The people you meet in daily life or at work place daily are not your friends but your office/workshop mates. We do share with them also our good,s and bad's but we can not share our personal and secret affairs with them. For that a friend in real is needed. In reality there are few friend and out of that u can trust one one who is your best friend the friendship of whom goes with your life. I have a friend who meet me 35 years ago and by the passage of time we developed a real friendship. At present we are residing in different cities for the last about 32 years but we are friend. We were friends when we were unmarried. We were friend when we got married. We were friend when we got kids. We were friend when my friend get his children married. We shared and visited all these events. Believe our friendship has taken the shape of relationship. Some time when his family and my family are to gether in some function our other relations think that we are brothers or close relative they only learn when our children told them that we are friends for the last 35 years prior to they come in this world.
