Do you have interesting places to go in your home country? I went camping for four days by the coast in a rural position. I had a day out in a riverside town and a inland town and another day out riding a steam train and walking in a garden with coastal views. It is only in the last three years that I have wanted to explore my own country. I was always in such a rush to go overseas.
I love traveling overseas and in a year I have to go on at least one trip abroad. I adore tropical locations with white sand, palm trees and a coral reef. I like to explore history and find out about the culture. I like to see the native wildlife. I rarely go back to the same place again because there are so many more countries on my travel wish list.
Do you like exploring your home country?
Have you been overseas and enjoyed that?

Hello maximax. I have never been overseas, but I have been to quite a few cities in my own country. There is so much to see in my country for its vast land. I love travelling, but my present present financial status does not allow me to. If later, I got more financially rich, I would travel as much as I can with my familiy to see more of the country and overseas. Happy travelling, dear friend.

Hello my dear friend Williamjisir. You live in a huge and fascinating country so it is wonderful that you have been able to see a few cities. There will be lots more for you and your family to explore in the future. I hope that your finances will improve and then may be you will be able to take a trip overseas as well.

Hi maximax8! I love going overseas too and there are a lot of countries that I really love to go to if I will blessed with that opportunity. I would also love to see all the beautiful places in my own country. It is unfortunate that I have only seen some of it and there are still a lot to cover. Maybe, in time too I will be blessed with that chance to explore my own country.
Take care always..God Bless!

Hi Faith. It is lovely to hear that you have had the opportunity to travel to see some of the places in your home country. I think that you will have lots more lovely sights to enjoy in the future. Yes, there is so much to explore and take photos of so you can have lots of great memories. I adore island hopping and snorkeling and so if I lived in your country I might be able to do that most days. Take care my friend.

When I was younger I did a lot of travelling and living 'overseas'. Being a history buff and a writer, it was heaven to explore exotic locales and cultures.
After I married though, my travelling days were over for a time. So now the travelling I do (I live in Canada) is pretty much within my own borders. I've been across this great country from coast to the other, and it seems that every ten minutes the landscape changes and there is always something wild and wonderful around the next bend in the road. As much as I love travelling to other countries, I know that I will NEVER get bored travelling around my own.

It is excellent that you traveled around and lived overseas in your younger days. Canada is a huge and scenic country so I imagine that there is still lots left for you to explore. It is wonderful that you are fascinated in history because there is a lot of this that that is interesting to find out about. Yes, the changing landscapes amaze me and I am keen on coastlines. I would love to travel from Halifax to Vancouver by train. I wish you lots of fantastic traveling experiences.

hi
Yes I like to travel overseas only for journey and not as a settled down.
If you do not have strog support abroad, to stay here and to hardwork is the best options.

I have travelled an awful lot in the UK over my 37 years, visited Scotland twice for lengthy periods, Wales both North and South, and toured by camping holidays or with friends the south. There is so much to see and do, the only trouble is the weather is not on our side in the UK! Otherwise you'd be able to visit and see a lot more places. I have also been to a few places abroad not as many as I'd like but hey I've still got time, and there's quite a few places on my list that I want to visit before I meet my maker. I love the scenery, the animals in their natural habitats, I love the coastlines and the history and the transport too. I think I was spoilt in Amsterdam I loved it there and of course the Greek Mythology of Rhodes.

I love exploring America and other places, too. But you know that from past posts.
I loved visiting Maine. We were in a camper and we went from place to place eating. Like a progressive luncheon only it was progressive dining.
The beaches were beautiful, it rained every day except one. That day we spent all day at the beach. We met and talked to locals. They tell some wonderful stories in Maine, esp. if you get an old storyteller.
I would like to go back to Maine again.

I still have a lot of my own country to see. I have only really explored the east coast, and a little of the south and of the inland. I would love to visit West Australia and the Top End. There is always something new to see - even in your own backyard. I love being a tourist, even in my own city, and never grow tired of it.
