SIMPSONS or SOUTH PARK?

Many of my friends argue that south park is way better than Simpsons. When asked why one of them says, I CANT UNDERSTAND SIMPSONS! Well ive grown up watching simpsons and i just love it. The characters are so diverse and every one is someone you can relate to in your everyday life!!! Id go for simpsons any day. what do you guys think? How many more years will the simpsons last?

First and foremost, I think if you can't understand the Simpsons maybe you need to watch Sesame Street or something on Noggin. I love the Simpsons, however I am also a fan of South Park. I too grew up watching the yellow quintet throughout my life. I have been watching them since they were on Tracy Ulman. I hope that they stay on telivision for many years, but the sad part is that they are running out of ideas. It is not something that the writers should be ashamed of, it's difficult keeping a show that's so old so fresh.

I think both the Simpsons and South Park are great, just they are quite different, since South Park includes more violent languange and so on...

Southpark has a diferent type of humour but in my opinion it doesnt come close to beating the simpsons.
