What is on your Computer Table?

I spend most of my time on my computer working, surfing the net, emailing, MyLotting, So I try my best to keep important things around so that I would not have to get up to fetch them and also things that make me happy. You will always find a bottle of boiled water, my spectacles, my pen and a small note pad, a photograph of me and my husband on my computer table. So what do you keep around your computer desk or table.

Hi Rintis, I guess I don't keep much around my computer table!! Do I even have a computer table? No. I have something that resembles a computer table and it's so tiny that I have my keyboard on one of those small shelves that you slide out. I guess I have a notepad close by but that is about it. I just love my computer and crazy or not, at the end of a session I say to it "Computer, you've done a terrific job today, keep up the good work!" Am I going mad? I hope not. Andrew

When we start spending a lot of time with something doing what we love, we start treating it like a pal and believe it has a life. I too think this way and even pat it sometimes. Funny Isn't it.

Hi Rintis, That is so true! I think that they say, if you look after your things and treat your things with respect then they will return the respect to you by lasting for a very long time. I think it's something to do with universal energy but we're going very deep here!!! Andrew

Wow that's uh... I have good things and bad things, a ton of bottles and cans I cash in, that instead of putthing them in a back I keep them all over... . I have some paperwork, pictures figurines all sorts of stuff. Meaning I should clean up. Lol, been meaning to but I just love being on the pc too much and wiht my son as well.

Hakuna matata, yeah it was messy, but since I baby proofed I now have a nice semi clean desk, at least there's no more cans and bottles everywhere, just a lot of papers and CD's lol.

This question could take me forever to answer because my computer table is just full of clutter. Because I just recently moved house, I am putting anything that I might need with my pc on the table. On the very top shelf there is a sound system and a webcam and also a remote control for the sound system. Next shelf there are a few cables, a few handheld games and a couple of dvds. Next is something that might need to be connected to my pc and a mug of paper clips. On the table there are some notebooks, a tape dispenser, a lamp, some pens, a camera and a cup warmer. I don't use the keyboard shelf except for my mouse as I like to sit back in my chair with the keyboard on my knees. Below are two printers and on the floor beside the desk is my cpu. I am sure I have left out quite a lot but it would take me forever to type everything. Ask me again next week and hopefully I will be more organised and have it all tidied up.

Separate table seems to be a nice way to be clutter free. Thanks.

I have everything here... this is my work-at-home spot. I do all my bills and everything right here so I have (on one side of my desk) my printer/printer paper and all my files in the filing cabinet (which is in my desk) on the other side I have all my CD's for my computer, paper for writing on and pens and pencils. The thing I bring to my computer every day - something to drink and my cell phone... everything else is right here for me so I dont need to go very far to get something I need
