It really depends on what you mean by '80's rock. Because while I do like a lot of the harder stuff that came out the 80's, what I prefer from the 80's are things that are really catchy. And by that I mean stuff like Journey, Kansas, Styx, CCR, U2, REM, REO Speedwagon, stuff like that. I'm not sure if that would classify as anything other than pop, but I don't know.

Yes indeed I love 80's rock. In fact I have several of them in my i-pod. 80's rock also the new wave are very snappy kinds of music fast to catch and pops.

Yeah I do. And I don't really like labels, so I'm gong to say that I'm not a true rocker, lol. That way I won't get caught in that trap. I listen to everything. I feel more of a connection with indie songs, though. Listening to 80s rock is one of my many genre interests. So I think you win this one dude.
