We have a three bedroom house. Kitchen, living room, dining room, fun room, and office. The kids are grown and moved away. Currently we have four televisions, one gaming machine, 5 dvd players, 2 vcr players, 2 computers, and a laptop. That's way too many entertainment devices for just two people I know. Most of these were bought and/or used by the kids who lived here, ours and others. So how many entertainment devices do you have in your house? Do you have too many? Wish you had more?

We also have a three bedroom house. Kitchen, two living areas and a toy room. We have a 7 year old son. We have three televisions, 3 dvd players (with vhs also), 2 desktop computers, 1 laptop, 1 nintendo, 2 playstations, 1 ps2, 1 sega and 1 supernintendo game system. The "toy" room houses my husbands musical instruments: guitars (electrics and acoustic) and a keyboard. My son's drums are in his room.
We have a foozeball table and a mini pinball machine in our back living room.
I think it's a lot but it definitely keeps us entertained and never bored.

Musical instruments are great. We have 3 guitars, all electric a PA and mic too. My youngest was in a band years ago and my husband plays too. We had drums but donated them to our church day school. Doesn't seen we need to go anywhere to be entertained but have to be sure the kids get some exercising in Have a great day!

We are in total agreement! My house was the hang out. It's nice to be able to share and support and more importantly keep them safe! This "stuff" did impact all of the kids. My boys are grown and moved out yet many of the friends still stop by to visit hubby and I even though the boys are gone.

O' yes exercise is definitely important. We have a trampoline in the backyard, bicycles, and a pretty nice neighborhood as we can take long walks without being creeped out by funny neighbors.
I don't think it's the material things that matter so much, it's the quality time you spend with each other. We strongly believe in making time to spend with each other and the rest of the family. The little things just add to it and can make up for rainy afternoons.

Wow! you said it - way too much for 2 people. Didn't your kids take their things with them when they moved it and will they not need it when they visit? We don't have two of anything in our house. One TV, One music set, one computer and one laptop is all we have. Already we are feeling that's a lot to have .
