I try to write down when my kids say something funny. I'd love to hear what some other kids have said that made you laugh. Sometimes they just say the wrong word or just come out of nowhere with something that tickles you.
For example, recently my daughter wanted to have a race. So we were ready and she said "On your march, get set, go! I couldn't go because I just found it funny that she said on your march instead of mark. So we marched and soon it became a marching band. Maybe I'm easily amused, but I love what kids say!

When my son was maybe 2, I let him dress himself. We were going somewhere and, he was in the seat between hubby and me. I looked down and thought he had his legs crossed. I looked again and realized that he had his shoes on the wrong feet. When I said that to him, he looked up at me, and said, "No, they're the right feet, they're the only ones I got." I had to laugh.
When my daughter was about 31/2, we were bowling one night. One of the team members had his foot on the stool she had been sitting on. She started to climb up on the stool. The guy said something like, "that's right, kiss my foot, your mama is teaching you right, real early."
She backed off the stool, put her hands on her hips, and said, " My momma is teaching me not to kiss any man's butt!" I thought everybody around us was going to fall out of their chairs, laughing. For the record, I never said anything like that to her. I still wonder where she got that.

One day my two year old wouldn't stop jumping off the table and would climb back again, then jump. I warned him that if he doesn't stop, he would get hurt. He wouldn't stop and eventually, he fell off the table and hurt his toes. I ran to him and he said, "kiss ouch mama" pointing at his aching toe. I told him, "see, i told you so, mama's right eh?" Then he repeated what i said, "Mama lied?"

LOL! Kids always say great stuff! We have a french drain in the front of the house that will automatically come on when water builds up. He saw it spitting water out one day and said, "Look Mommy, it's a water fart!" I thought I was going to roll on the ground! Great post and thanks for sharing!
