How your credit card notifies you about your purchase?

I can check my credit card balance online or via phone. Some credit cards even let you view pending transactions, others only those transactions that actually fully went through. They also mail you a monthly statement or you can view it on their website. You see where something was bought and how much was spent. With most of them you can even pay bills online.

I can check online also, but if it is a big purchase they call to make sure it's from us to get the ok.

Hi youless! That is such a great service! I only get to see and check my purchases at the end of my cutting date for the billed month. The bank or credit company will give me two weeks to check and file complaints if there are fraud purchases that are reflected on my billing statement. I hate to recieve the same notification on different mediums so I keep my notifications off. I regularly login to my account to find the shopping details and that's worked for me so far.

both by statement from the bank or by text messages sent to my mobile. gee ! it reminds that i haven't received my statement this month !!!

first of all it gets reflected on the the online credit card account ,then I get a sms on my cell phone,then monthly i get a postal bill and before that a statement comes in my inbox.

I don't have a credit card, but I have a check card on an American bank account that I use just like a credit card, It has a Visa logo and everything on it. When I use it like a credit card or at an ATM machine the money comes directly out of my account. I like that, because there are no surprise bills at the end of the month.

Well it doesn't. Sometimes things are not too advanced here that lol. I have got to manually check by logging in to the portal. Either that or I wait for my monthly statement to arrive. Then if need be, we can dispute.

I can always check my credit card balance by calling toll free... but in the past... someone would always call me when i use my credit card to confirm if it was indeed me who used it... i experience my credit card being hacked a few years ago... so they wanted to confirm with me first... but nowadays they do not do that anymore...

My bank will mail me a statement once a month and I would check the items and pay accordingly. Because I just have one credit card, I never forget to pay.

Hi youless, Credit cards are nice to have, especially if traveling. You don't have to take large amounts of money with you. I get statements at the end of the month for my purchases. It is also much easier to spend more on your purchases. LOL Have a nice day..
