Does Your Family Member Always Ask About How Much Money Do You Have in the Bank?

Hello wondericequeen, I never let my family knows how much I earn till now! I think it is a personal matter and I don't like to share with others about my financial status. But after getting married, I need to tell all to my husband. So, right now he is the only person who knows about my financial status. My mother is quite old and she asks me many times about my salary and etc. I did tell her about my salary but she always forget and keep asking again and again. That's good at least....she can't remember the figure at all!

No they don't ask and if they did I would say none of your business without hesitation.

not family member, they never ask, but I sometimes tell them just to explain how much interest I receive and how much bank fee I have to pay. I just started small business 2 years ago so not much of stable income yet basically my husband is the breadwinner and he knows that and never asks me how much money I have.

That is such a rude question and you know when someone asks that s/he is just going to set about telling everyone else. If someone asked me this, I would turn the question right back on them, saying "Why do you want to know?"

No, none of my family members ever ask about how much money I have. I would also be quite offended about that. Plus, I wouldn't be asking them that question either. Yes, how much money we have is very private information and nearly all the people I know want that kept private.

yeah, my dad asks me sometimes as does my mum, i tell them the same thing, it is my money, i earned it its my business not theirs, its very rude to ask people things like that

My parents never asked the amount in my bank but they have asked if I have enough in my account to cover something. My parents respect me that way at least. They even said that it is none of their business to what is in my account. They just want to make sure I have enough if that problem arises.

They haven't asked me anout that. Because I am a student. But I think the reason that they ask you about that is they care about you. So you should be happy about that. Of course, I think you should not respond to them too. It is your pravicy.
