Hey friends how often do you go out for a swim. Be it in the swimming pool, lagoon, river, sea anything. I love to swim but the last time i went swimming would be around 8 years back Lolzzz... I know it is kind of shocking but it is true. What about the rest of you? Same scenario or you'll are regular swimmers?

Well You are talking my kind of talk now. I love to swim, and if the weather is fit, I swim every day. I have a very bad back, that has left me disabled for over 22 years,so swimming is the only real exercise that I can really get at all any more. The water takes the weight off my back, and makes me feel really good. If I could I guess that I would just live in the water. I have always loved swimming and being anywhere that there was a body of water.

Well I have a pool in my complex but I rarely go there, only like once in a month or so, mainly because I feel it's too small and shallow (that's cause I'm over 6 feet tall;) ). Anyways when I goto my native place, there's a river nearby which has a strong flow complete with undercurrents and it's also very deep. Whenever I get the chance, I go there because it's very refreshing, but I only go with my dad because I'm scared of drowning (there has been many drownings in the river near my place) and he's a very experienced swimmer in rivers.

I've been trying to go swimming daily but most of the time it ends up being 3 times a week for at least an hour usually each time. Although, in a couple months that will all be over when it gets too cold.

I have spent years away from the pool myself until just recently. After being in a car accident and severly hurting my back I have packed some weight on and I am normally a very active person. However with a back injury it sure hinders it alot. My surgeon as well as my doctor told me to get into the pool. I have been trying for the last month or so trying to get into the pool as much as I can. I do however find that I still have some pressure on my spine because of the twisting when I do laps. I guess we will wait and see how it comes along. However I did lose some weight because of the swimming.

My family are regular swimmers. We have a pool where we buy a season ticket for the whole year and we can swim when we want to. We always swim on a saturday morning, it is a fun session for us, we take the floats, flippers and rings and play lots of games. We also go and just swim lenghts of the swimming pool. When on holiday we like to go to the big splash pools where there wave machines and big water slides. A sport that everyone can join in and have fun, what ever the level they are at.
