Are my kittens twins??

I ahve never seen a cat give birth before and so it was quite a shock to attend my momma cats birth the other day. She pretty much likes the male of the house more than me any day but on this day she chose me to help :) She had one kitten half way out when she got up, walked over to me , laid down on my knee and proceeded to birth the baby! It was a girl and attached still by a cord going to momma. Next came out number two and then the placenta. Momma couldnt get the sack open so I took a towel and gently broke it and he started breathing...again I am in total awe here. Number three decided that she needed no help at all and popped right out and put her face towards mine and meowed and then her placenta comes...now I dont even have to say I hope that all three of my babies are staying with me forever after all of this :) In any case, I was wondering since there were only two placentas and three babies and the fact that two of them were connectd by that one cord, are they twins? PS I stayed there with her all day until she started to clean herself and she did just fine :) Momma and her two girls and her son are just fine and bringing us a lot of joy!!
