I enjoy reading horror novels. My favorite authors are Stephan King and Dean Koontz, they both write great horror novels.

I love a good detective story! Ian Rankin who does DCI Rebus who solves crimes in Glasgow is one of my favourites, I can't put the books down! I used to be in the library heading straight for the crime section looking for good fictional books, trouble is now with the internet I read less and less and less, as all my reading time is taken up by being on the computer. I also like reading horror books but not as much as watching them on dvd!

I like science fiction the best. It often has strong women characters, when I was kid that was the only genre that was true in on the whole. I like strong women!

That varies depending on what is happening in my life. Lately I've been very interested in non-fiction. Right now I'm reading "Voltaire's Bast@rds" by John Ralston Saul, and I'm going to start "The end of work", by Jeremy Rifkin. I guess you can say the theme is politics/sociology.
There are times when I love non-fiction though. My favourite type is poetry.

when i was in school, i enjoyed reading my social science textbooks, although textbooks can get a little boring. but i prefer fiction. they are a more fun escape into an adventurous fantasy land somewhere, into something or somewhere that i would not normally do, much different from my normal routine boring life. magazines are fun to read because they are more light, especially when u have had a long and hard day and you dont want to think too hard and read too much. graphic novels are fun because it is fun to check out other people's art.

I like to read suspense and mystery books the most. I did just recently get into the 'Twilight' series and I like those, even though they are a little bit heavier on the romance stuff ( which I usually don't like ). I particularly like Dean Koontz books.
I also really like reading magazines. I like that they are short, so it isn't as time consuming as a novel. When it comes to magazines, I'll read about pretty much anything: fashion, music, home decor...anything. My favorite types of magazines, though, are music ones.

My favorite reading material is nonfiction, especially book about extraordinary things. Every now and then I enjoy a novel, but they can't compare with the true stories.
