How you rate ur sucess?????

Hi guys, I would like to ask U this question"How u rate ur success?". Is it from the report card/from the customer feedback/from the increment in your salary/bonus/incentive for your extra ordinary performance?I had encountered some people saying that from the results what one is expecting one can rate his success. If the outcome is what he is expecting then he considers himself to be successful. But I personally have a different opinion that when the outcome is more that what you are expecting that is success.Normally we get the output for the efforts we had put into it or the midnight oil we had burnt or for the family life we had spared for achieving. Even after putting all the efforts or what ever the inputs we are supposed to it may not yield the fruits which we are seeking for instantaneously. This cannot be taken for being unsuccessful the thing which differentiates is the factor which makes us perceive the things. What do you say????????.........thanks a lot.
