From movies to lyrics to everyday talking...why do people have to use vulgar language. I'm no saint by any means, by the way. I was raised not to curse or swear but whenever my mother got mad...that was a different story! To me I think it's a lack of knowledge on what to say so instead of people using their heads to find words to express their anger, they use vulgar language. My hubby loves the show "The Sopranos" and it seems like every other word is the "F***" word. I'm a major country music fan and they don't find the need to swear in their lyrics but other types of musicians do. Plus what's funny is a lot of singers seem to be turning to country now too, like Kid Rock, Jewel, to name a few. I've heard some of Kid Rock's lyrics and WOW! But in country music they use cleaner words to express themselves like dang, darn, things like that not the f*** or MF'er like the others like to use. What are your thoughts on this subject?

I noticed that, too. They use those words in the songs. Sad part is, the kids get to sing their song and the kids learned to use the words in their conversations, too.
