I just cried this afternoon because my sister and my mother was having a fight and they are like shouting at each other on the top of their lungs and i was like caught in the middle trying to calm the two of them...i cannot take it anymore so i just cried and went upstairs to my room. I am a type of person who easily cries, especially when im hurt and especially if it concerns me, my personal life and my family..im very sensitive about my family...what about you what makes you cry?

I mostly cry for joy and pride, when my son did something marvelous. Other moments that I cry is when I am in severe pains. And these days are a lot of pains, I have ME/CFS AND Fibromyalgie, so there are a lot of pains to cry about. The crying is then not so much about the pains itself, as well, about all the efforts I have tried to solve them. A normal painkiller wont work, people say: smoke a joint, that releases the pain! I did so, it only got me a panic attack. So thats no solution either. Now I am on heavy painkillers from the doctor, but I can only cry because I know I need them so much.

I am not a person that cries very often, when I do cry it is usually out of illness rather than emotion. I can tolerate family arguments, but I understand why you started to cry as my sister does if anyone is arguing in a really heated way. The last time I cried was a couple of nights ago, because I had a cold and it was making my eyes water, other reasons for crying is hay fever and tiredness. I have dry eyes, but when I get tired they get dryer, so my eyes try and compensate this by watering.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, but there's nothing that could make me cry, really. It's been years before that I cried and it was during one of my heartbreaks, but I made it a point to be stronger, since I'm a guy and guys ain't supposed to cry for a lady. But I did feel sad inside and that's what matters. I find it hard to cry nowadays, maybe because I do not wish for people to see me crying. That has become a habit, until I couldn't even cry when I'm all alone.

I never cry for things. I usually just can't cry but yes deep within i feel very very sad or bad. know of people like you who tend to cry. In fact most females are like that so nothing to worry about. I have seen gals in my class cry a lot too.
But they say when you cry it out you feel much better than just sitting quietly. I mean u get that sign of relief when u cry it out and you don't feel all caught up. Am i right??
I hope everything has settled and things have calmed down at home and both your mother and sister and back on talking terms with each other. Wish you and your family good luck dear.

I've been in your situation before. Mom and sis too! It's pretty depressing to see them fight everyday and sometimes i don't want to wake to wake up anymore because i was sick and tired of it. Sometimes i thought of bluffing them.. i repeat bluffing them by telling them i'd kill myself if they won't stop. But that would give them nightmares so i opted for another thing like shout at the top of my lungs to.. a lot louder so i can overcome the noises they make. But like you, if i'm not strong enough and if i was a girl, i'd cry too. So just be strong and pray.

wow i wish i could shout at the top of my lungs too..what i usually do is i try be the referee..i take the other to the room and the other person to the other room then i go up the stairs to my room and hug my three children and cry..then im ok...i really could not stand it when they are shouting at each other as if they want to kill each other with anger.

I only cry when I'm really hurt. For example, if I feel klike i didnt accomplish something that I should have I will cry because i am weary. Ittook me a week to cry when my mom passed and maybe longer when my dad passed and that was only 4 years ago. I just have a tolerance for a lot of things. i really have to feel helpless in order to cry.

What makes my cry is the fact that my father is very very sick. I hope the chemo therapie which he gets now will help him to live a few more years. That's what makes me cry.

I cry when I think of the crap that people have to put up with. I'm listening to an on-line review of the movie "Not Without My Daughter" and it brings tears to my eyes to think of the way that some people treat women in the world. It really really stinks that in some ountries women have no rights at all. It is a crime that people's rights are taken away just because of who they are.

i agree with you there..i cannot understand that in some countries in this modern time..women are still treated as a second class citizen...even in my own country there are still women suffering from inequality from men.

i cry for a lot of reasons, but mostly because i miss my boyfriend so much it hurts. he is currently out of the country to work, that's why. but we email each other everyday, call when we can and send SMS to each other, but i still cant help missing him so much. it's just different when he is home. long distance relationship is not easy but as long as you love each other, it can of course work out.

i am also a very sensitive person. i easily cry when i'm hurt, of course. situations that hurts me are: 1. when my son is sick 2. when someone i love lied 3. when someone shouts at me and the fourth one is when i can't stand the pain.
crying is not being coward, i believe that it is a way for us to get through the pain and release tension. once we already cried on something, we feel better, right?

I always get upset when my parents fight. I don't know why though, as I know that they don't mean anything by it, but it upsets me all the same.
I also don't like arguing with people in general, or having to watch other people argue.
There are also some films which make me cry.

Was it an everyday scene? If "yes" then you should have a talk one - one to both of them when they calm down from anger.I can understand how you must be feeling exactly right now.It must have had hurt you to see your loved one quarrelling like this in front of you.Even same here,I mean I am very emotional and touchy person.I cry when things are related to me personally and when it comes to family matters I am very sensitive too. However,I try to control my emotions, since I don't want to get embarrassed when I am in public places.I cry when I feel lonely and there si nobody to talk to and share.I cry when I miss my fiance a lot.He is not here in town right now. So,I miss him badly. When I am upset anybody can easily make it out seeing my face with that just one glance.

Its really not that frequent but i have to say the two of them are not that close..but then i can't help not crying because they are also crying and what they are fighting about concerns the whole family and even me...im just so affected that was why i cried...and people will really notice easily that i cried even for such short period of time because my eyes will turn red easily and bulgy.

My dear friend,I don't know the reason why your sister and mother are upset with each other? Why they don't get along well with each other? and why they fight? But, my concern is "you" my friend.I don't want you to get affected so badly.I can see you are disturb and upset because of this problem at home.I don't know the reason so I am not able to tell you anything also. But,what I would say is,if possible have a talk with them.Tell them how this is affecting your life too.How it is making you feel miserable?Don't you have any other elder member in your family to make this two understand?..I feel so sad for you.Why don't you take a break from home for sometime?Stay at friends or relatives for few days?Till you are feeling better. It will also help you to think clearly and how to tackle the situation.Be strong my friend, don't get so upset.

I've never really cried when some people are having fights, but there are some things when I could and/or will really cry out, because I'm actually quite sensitive from time to time..
Last time I had a fight with my dad and I was REALLY scared because he found out I was still smoking and he always said that if I start smoking, that he would break my knees..So he found out and I saw his anger in his eyes, it was terrible, he even attacked me then with a hammer, and ofcourse I ran away as fast as I could! After a while when I hidded myself in some bushes I started crying softly, and went to my friends who started comforting me. It was really one of the most terrible things that ever happened to me.
Another thing where I can really cry about is when dogs (even if they're not mine) are suffering from pain, or when they're dying..I can't bare to see such things and I automatically start feeling very sad, and usually I start crying..I've even cried with the movie 'I am Legend', when Will smiths' dog, his only memory to his family was bitten and he had to kill him because of that virus..Well I've started crying and I couldn't stop crying for over half an hour!
Sometimes I really think Im too sensitive..! LOL
