Beijing Olympics

hi cristalkate! olympics?? i really want to cry when i hear this, because our country didn't won any medal at all. huhuhuhuhuhu` i hope that this would be taken as lesson, so that our government would give more support to our athletes. may they see this as an eye opener, so that every athlete would be given an opportunity to really honed his or he talent in his/her chosen field of expertise. that the people in the position wouldn't just think about their own selfish interest but also about the welfare of the people and for the upliftment of our country. for me, the olympics is like a big playground wherein all countries are their to showcase their talent. the olympics is like a big judge, wherein the best would shine after the game and the others are ready to be culled. it is like a place wherein the support of one country to their athletes are being measured and weighed. Also i see olympics as the means to end the conflicts between countries. this is a time where breached trust could be build again, peace could be restored and people having the time of their lives, without having to think about war, war, war. this is the time, where people just forget about their color or race, all that matters is that they would do it in the name of camaraderie and sportsmanship.
