Have you ever been hospitalized? Have you ever been a patient in a clinic or a hospital? Well, no offense please but i wonder why patients are called as such when in fact they are actually impatient. you may laugh at me for that, i will take it but it was really an observation that i can testify since i am a nurse and for the last 7 years i work to care for the sick and well, for people we call "patients". My experience, i regularly go to check ups or work ups and not to brag but i am actually a patient patient. I am someone who waits patiently too long til my name gets called during check ups even though most of my doctors are close to me. i do not scream in pain even though i have a lot of injections, blood works and so on and so forth. and lastly, i do not humiliate my colleagues nor scold them when they perform tasks far from my expectations. i am a nurse and i am also patient. being a patient advocate, i also understand why patients turn to become impatient sometimes. how about you? how are you as a patient?

I'm pretty patient. I mean these people are the ones who are going to be taking care of you, so you better make them like you yeah? And I know my brother is studying to be a doctor, and I know some doctors, and I know that they do have your best interest in mind, so you should treat them well. They do want you to get better, and deserve your respect because of it. And I know a wait when you are in pain or anything can be rough, but its only temporary. So in short, I'm patient, because I know that they will get around to me, that they do know what they are doing, and that they really do want to and are going to help me get better with whatever is wrong with me.

honestly speaking I'm demanding as a patient.. I think the reason why some patients are impatient because of their current medical conditions, if we are in pain we are very sensitive right?
