Well it is somewhat true. It is because when you drink a lot, your stimach would feel full, so you don't want to eat, and this water would cleanse up your blood from fats so you would cleansed up the fats on your body. Since you are full and doesn't want to ear anymore and you are cleanse the fat out, you would lose some weight.

If you're the girl in your profile picture, I guess you don't have any fat at all... I don't think losing fat too much would be good to your body too. Body needs fat tu burn for energy. You need them to shape your body and to protect bidy tissues that easily damaged... well.. but if you're insisting, please do it in a healthy and safe way :)
good luck and have a nice day

Well; I do not think that drinking water would make you lose weight .
What could happen is :
You drink lots of water , you have lesser urge of eating things and you keep Tab on what you eat .
If implemented everyday ; It would lead to Weight control.
As for Weight-Loss ; I am doubtful.

I have heard that drinking a Lot of water will help you lose weight. But you have to becaeful. Not everyone can handle a Lot of water. And it will mess with your bodies chemistry. Start out slowly and work up to your goal, there is no hurry.

I think the water can accelerate the metabolism, whick requires more energy you have absorbed from the food.
After all, water keep you healthier. That's much more important that the weight.
