If you were running from a hurricane, what is the most important thing besides family and pets that you would take?

because you have mention that I can't use the two things. If I'm facing a hurricane, I will take the identification card or letter from my whole family. Because in here the mostly people do is save their family and take the identification letter safely. So they can do something with it, like moving a house or making a passport and etc. My place to make the new identification card is very hard, the official goverment like to tribulate us. So it very frustate us

Probably my mobile phone :) So I can still try to contact my loved ones in case we get separated. Here's hoping the battery was charged fully before the hurricane hit LOL

I would take a few pairs of clothes & underwear and don't forget about my wallet. I wouldn't bother about food and clothes because hopefully the red cross would be supporting.
