Pineapple on Pizza

I always thought it would be absolutely disgusting. But then I tried it an loved it. Pineapple on pizza is delicious, especially like pineapple and canadian bacon.

The appeal is that tantalizing snap of tart and sweet with the salty goodness of the tomato sauce. Superb!!! I used to eat ham and pineapple all the time!! ALL the time!! I've now become a fan of green pepper and onion, or grilled eggplant, but if I was offered ham and pineapple, I'd NEVER say no!

Pineapple is my favorite fruit. I will admit, though, that at first the thought of pineapple on pizza sounded gross. One day, someone we knew gave us a Hawaiin pizza for free, so we tried it. I thought it was really good. I was surprised I liked it. I don't know really what the appeal is, I just know it was better than I thought it'd be. I guess the only appeal really for me is that I love pineapple so much.

I'm not sure what the exact appeal is but when I was in my teens, I worked at a pizza hut once summer... That's when I tried pineapple on my pizza for the first time... We had some stuff left over at the end of the night & the manager told us, cooks, that if we wanted to, we could make ourselves some pizza & take'em home... I put pineapple, ground beef & some fresh garlic on it... It's been my favorite ever since... My daughter always gets pineapple & pepparoni on her pizza... It does taste weird but she loves it...

Pineapple on pizza is good, espeically if the sauce is slightly sweet. All these pizza posts are really making me crave the pizza in my freezer. I really don't want to cook it up but so help me I will!

pineapple isn't isn't sweet on the most part. its mostly acidic but does have a sweet tone. some people like that and it brings out the flavors in the pizza. The only time I have pizza with pineapple its with ham, and the salty combination of the ham and the sweet of the pineapple balance each other out.

I really love pineapple pizza. I tryed it one time and likes it so much. If you dont like pineapple you would not like it.

It adds sweetness to the pizza. It neutralizes the saltiness of the cheese. It is not my favorite topping on a pizza but it is not bad to eat...

personally i don't like pineapple on pizza, it overwhelms the other flavors you put on a pizza. if i want pineapple, ill eat it pineapple alone as dessert, but not on top of a pizza.

I can barely stand pineapple. But it on a pizza is just weird. I guess it was made to appease the hawaians or someone was just desperate for toppings.

Pineapples on pizzas just rocks ! I love it so much really lol As I said on another post, I would eat pizzas all year long !
