I always loved to make things

I always loved arts and crafts when I was a kid, and it has followed me into my adulthood. I currently have a business where I design and make teddy bears. I don't make enough to support me, but it brings me extra money for the extras that I want. I hoped to pass the love to my daughter and grand daughters and I did pass it along! My daughter loves making jewelry and sewing as do my grand daughters. As it has been said, children that are involved in arts and crafts are less likely to join gangs and get into trouble.

I was the same as you. At camps, most of my friends usually hated arts & crafts except me. I really loved when you make something that's wearable. Really lifted my spirit and it was a good souvenir. I still have a few arts & crafts creations from my childhood.
