Hi! I have thought about it and think that it would definitely be helpful in cost cutting. It does require a huge investment though and personally, as much as Id like to see solar panels everywhere I go, I just dont think the country is ready for such a move in the way of life. I know that there are some places in the country that have adapted solar energy as their main source of energy but on a large scale, even if it would have benefits, the country is just too preoccupied with different current issues to think about such things.

i know some countries are giving tax incentives for those who installs solar power to their homes..
yes, it would be very nice if solar power is everywhere.. i saw in some documentary and websites that "greenhouse" architects have started incorporating in their building design such alternatives like solar power and passive cooling..
i'm still in the research on solar power, but i plan to install a small trial system before the year end.. (i've got some solar garden lamps for some time now and were impressed by them.. it lights 8 - 10 hours depending on the charge.. i had replaced the ni-cd batteries after 2 - 3 years..)

The cost of the solar system is very high in our place. If the cost of the solar system was very low, I would definitely would have brought one. I think solar system is one of the best way to save the electricity bill and also to save the fuel. I think the solar energy should be supported and the cost of the solar system should be low.
