When my kids were little they would say some of the cutetest things! My Dave would be get upset that he had to keep his room cleaned.. One day when I told him that he had to clean his room before going out to play.. He got in a bit of a HUFF.. Stomped up the steps saying..All you ever think about is: CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, ROOM, ROOM, ROOM!!!! This still makes me chuckle! Can you remember some really cute stories about your kids or someon elses? I love to hear ( read ) about them all the time!

I asked my son just yesterday if he had finished all 4 pages of his homework and he said yes. I know he had not, so I said "Bull." He spit out without even turning around, "Sh!t." I was like "what?" Without even hesitating he said it again, "Sh!t." I said, "Excuse me?" He said it again. "Sh!t. I knew that is what you were going to say."

Oopppppsss, they do learn things from us, we really wish that that wouldn't.. Funny, how we have to tell them somethings like 9 times.. Trying to teach them something. But, if it is something that we did not want them to hear or remember "they have that for the rest of their lives"

Oh, with 4 kids I have quite a few stories my self. One was right before my youngest daughter had to have brain surgery. She was only6 so we tried to explain to her what was going on. We thought we had a good grasp on it until we heard her explain what was going to happen to one of her friends parents. "My mom and dad are going to take me get my head cut off." lol What do you say to that? We smiled and went our way.

I have so many on my blog, I don't know which one to choose. But I had a smart little mouth when I was a kid too. I remember being asked to pick up the living room and saying "it's too heavy" or to straighten a room out and saying "it's not crooked".

I can't think of any funny things my kids have said off the top of my head, but I remember when my son was a little younger he had trouble saying some sounds. He would day "ninja" and lets just say it did not sound like ninja. I had a girl I work with go off on me telling me that I was racist because my son at 4 years old was saying that word and he must have heard it at home. So NOT the case. He just couldn't say it right.

hi louise I remember when my son was about four and had discovered a pair of scissors. I caught him in the act of cutting the fringes off my favorite towel. He had already cut off the fringe off one of the ends, and was just in the 'process of starting to cut off the fringe on the other end I took the scissors away from him and he s cowled, I was just cutting off all the raveled ends so it wouldnt look all worn out.I had to laugh as I tried to explain that the towel was brand new and the fringe was meant to be there. He got off his miff then and went off to play.

haha, that makes me chuckle too!! your kids are really cute and smart!! My little brother who is 5 years old, Matthew, one day on a family party, we pointed to his parents and asked on purpose "whats their relationship" for fun, he looked down to the ground, shily told us "husband and wife", and then we asked further,"do you know why they are husband and wife?". He said, "because they like each other". but he added a question "can i have Sally to be my wife", Sally is his friend at kindergarden!
