if you happen to have a child with a woman (not your wife) from your past, and you have a family now, how would you deal with it? How would you be a father to your illegitimate child? would you support him/her financially? would you visit him/her once in a while? or would it be enough for you to find out that he/she is living well?

Hello purplehyacinth,
I am a mother but I just feel like answering this question. If a father have a child other than the legitimate family, he should be open about it with his wife. He should have informed his wife before their marriage so that no problems would arise. The father should ask permission from his wife to visit the child often, but that is if the mother of the child is willing also, then the father should try to bond with the child also and make sure he is doing good. The father won't give so much, but he will give something if he has extra money.
