Which of the following do you think will spark livelier conversation: * What is your favorite season? * Why is summer your favorite season? If not your favorite, why not? This was a great lesson I learned from my boss on my first job as a tutor in college. The first question will get you at best a one-word response. The second, however, will more than likely get someone to start spouting their whole summer vacation antics to you. In most cases, if you just give people a chance, they will want to share their lives with you. What do you think?
