Do You Keep or Throw Away Plastic Bags?

I save and reuse the plastic bags, they are great for lining the little trash cans in our home. I use them to clean out the litter box. When I have to send something to someone house. I saw and lady one day making a rug out of trash bags, She was making ti with yellow and white bags. it was pretty cool,!

I try to keep it but I can only keep as much. I feel guilty throwing plastic bags but sometimes, you're left with no choice. I try to bring my own bag now when shopping in the supermarket but still, it's not convenient when coming from the office. Oh gosh, we have to take care of mother earth somehow.

hi muelitz we save our plastic bags and use them to cover' leftovers in the refrigerator. It saves time and money 'as most plastic covers are fairly expensive. I also use them to store pasta and other dry foods in. Also some frozen foods that I have used part of the package, I will place in a clean plastic bag and return it to the freezer.

i use my plastic bags as garbage holders, and use them to clean up my dogs "washroom" area, i store these plastic bags in a drawer.

Plastic bags stay in the container where I put them and rarely see the light of day again just to be down right honest. I have bought some reusable bags from walmart and circle k, but I just don't bring them with me all the time everywhere. Most places look at you funny when you tell them to just use those instead... so unless they have self check outs I really dont feel comfortable using them LOL I hate wasting plastic bags... but the general population hasn't accepted change quite yet. I hope they ban the plastic bag soon like they the in a lot of places around the world. Its so much waste.

for me, I save the plastics bags for later use.. I see it as useful this way since I am reusing it and am helping save the earth :D

First of all, I love the way that you folded the plastic bag. I have never seen one folded like that and it would sure help with storage of them. I would like to learn to do that. I am not sure as to why the stores give so many plastic bags out,but I am trying to remember to use my canvas shopping bags so that I can be a little more eco friendly. However, I always reuse the bags that I get. I use them for trash bags in the bathroom, kids rooms,etc. and I let the kids use them for carrying stuff in the car,etc. I also recycle some every time that I go to the store. I have a holder for the bags but it doesn't hold as many as I get and so I stuff them inside another bag.

I keep plastic bags. I usually do that, coz i know i could still reuse it. Like, with our cat's dirt and as a garbage bag in our bathroom. There are lot of plastic bags stored in our kitchen closet..lol

we keeping plastic bag.i have lots of it and i even fooled it nicely and arrange it from big one to small one, so also the thick and thin one

I don't throw away my plastic bag. I keep it. I usually use it to place my stuff taht I want to borrow or give to other people. Everyday my mom go to traditional market and will bring two or three plastic bags. So my mom keep it and if the plastic bags is much enough. She will give to the greengrocer or food sellers. We reuse plastic bags as trash bags so we wouldnt have to throw them away. At a couple of my local grocery stores they have recycle bins for plastic bags but we never use them.

We recycle them.. We use them for trash. :) Uhm. I see my maid folding them too into triangles. Cool XD Then she stuffs it in a container.

we use them as any bag we need,taking out the trash,sometimes when my dad brings groceries we grab some plastic bags and go to his car and dumb all the groceries in our bad and then put it away =) we mostly reuse them and keep them away from my baby brother =)

We try to re use them as much as possible and never throw them out.

I should recycle. But I often throw half of them away and keep the rest to use for other things around the house.

I bought shopping bags that I can keep and use again and again. They are made out of jute and they can carry heavy items without breaking. So that means that I don't use plastic carrier bags that supermarkets give away. In my hand bag I keep three shopping bags that are made out of cotton. I use them when I am out with just my hand bag and I want to buy some things. In the past I used to take plastic bags to my local supermarket to put them forward to be recycled. Now I don't have to do that anymore and my action is helping the environment in a small way.

I usually keep them and then when I have loads of them in the cupboard I will take them all to the recycle bin. I have a reusable bag for my shopping so I no longer end up with loads of bags now, just the odd few when I have only done a little shopping.

I try to keep some of them but I get so many of them at times I throw them out for a time. When i keep them i place them in to my fabric bag for bags my grandma gave me for my birthday a few years back.

We also reuse plastic bags that we get from shopping and groceries. We have a drawer of plastic bags, wherein we fold the plastic nicely so that the drawer wouldn't be cluttered with it. However, we usually use it as garbage plastic.

Yes ,it is a serious phenomenon . Plastic bags have cause a big pollution. We all pay attention to it . I support you ,Muelitz.
