What are some places one should see if he visits South Korea? I think I am going to visit there within the year, and while I know a bit about it, and some places I want to visit, I was wondering if anyone who has been there has any suggestions! Thanks! I want to start planning stuff soon!

You definitely wanna visit Jegu island... It's one of the most popular spot for vacations & honeymoons... There is a mountain called, "halla" mountain... Looks beautiful... I gew up in Seoul, Korea up until I was 14 & moved here in U.S... I'm 37 now so it's been 23 years since I've lived here... In that time, I've visited Korea once for my brother's wedding... 2 weeks I've stayed there, I noticed it has changed a lot... Also, near Seoul, there's a place called, "Itaewon"... You should try visiting there as well... It's one of the popular spot in Seoul... By the way, try to bargain a little... Most of the people in market almost expect you to bargain with them... Although carrying it out too much will insult them, bargaining with a bit of small talk will get you pretty decent prices on almost everything... Make sure to keep the tone of the voice to medium to low when you do & you'll get a lot of smiles... Remember, you'll run into people who will laugh a lot... Don't take it personally... They're not laughing at you... They use laughing as a sign of being friendliness... Just smile & laugh with them...
