This movie was very deep. Never has one man do so much to so many people (without be a serial killer) It sucked that Jenny was a hoosie and forrest still loved her but he was kinda retarded and she loved him so it balanced out. But even though he was not so smart he did know more than people and he was a very brave man.

Hi! Forrest Gump truly is one of Tom Hanks' best movies ever. I also love one of his other excellent movies, "The Green Mile", but I think his character there wasn't as challenging as Forrest. His performance as Forrest was really astounding. It's so hard to portray a mentally challenged person. Way to go Tom!

Tom Hanks protrayed Forrest Gump in a compassionate manner. This movie showed us that handicaps do not need to isolate us from life if we develop a good attitude that accepts who we are and makes the best of the talents with which we are blessed.

there's no doubt its one of his most brilliant performances. The movie was such a good take on all the situations in U.S during the respective times. It was kind of a satire on the normal world from the point of view of a semi-retarded guy. It had just the right balance of humour and seriousness. "I'm forrest, forrest gump" is one of the best lines i'l remember. the marathon run he runs and the "s**t happens" part in it was simply great. And also the scene at end where he watches the apple company logo and thinks that his friebd had invested his money in a fruit company. i've rarely seen a better movie than this one

Forrest may not have been book smart or quick-witted, but he was very good at bringing out the best in those around him. This movie was well-written with accurate historical references to the thoughts and feelings of people of that time (some people hating the war and rebelling against it while others did what they had to do regardless of their private opinions).

Yeah, this has always been one of my very favorite movies. Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors too, but I've always thought that this movie was definitely one of his best. It was really a touching movie and really great, because it has really emotional parts, but then it also has some funny parts too, to make you laugh.

Ya, it was a very good movie. Tom Hanks has acted wonderfully well as a person with a low IQ. An excelent movie to watch

It definitely was one of his best movies. The only other movie that I think was even close was Castaway, which I enjoyed incredibly. I wonder how many more balls Wilson sold after that movie ha ha. And since I am a runner, Forrest Gump definitely has fit in well with my life. Lots of people yell Run, Forest, Run to me...

When ever you her his name, you know the movie will be a good one. The best Tom Hanks movie to me is Philladelphia. It really was a moving story. I think that it gave people a change of heart when it comes to people having to live with such a disease.
